The Beef and Pie Coffee Bar

Beef and Pie love many things: puppies, kittens, walk on the beach, world peace, shooting commercials, shooting documentaries – the usual kind of stuff everybody likes. But most of all, even more than snowflakes, sunset and our awesome new Red camera, Beef and Pie love coffee. Yes, we really love it a lot. We think about the next day’s first cup before we go to sleep at night and it’s the first thing we think of when we wake up. We despise bad coffee and will avoid really good restaurants if the have an over-roasted espresso. We select our shooting locations according to their proximity to the nearest good coffee shop. We judge interns on their ability to find – and rapidly procure – good coffee in remote places. You can call it addiction, obsession, whatever. We just think that life without a good cup of the black stuff is no life worth living.
And so it was that a few years ago, we started having our own coffee custom roasted to our exacting specifications. We gave it to our similarly addicted friends and clients and soon developed a solid following of people who wanted more of our good stuff. A lot more. One thing led to another and – long story short – we are now pleased to announce that the Beef and Pie Coffee Bar is open for business. Yes, ardent followers, we now have our own coffee bar and – it’s good – really good. We’re located in Pure Austin gym, right above the Starbucks on 5th and Lamar. You don’t need to be a gym member to get a cup – just walk on up and “cooofffeeeee” in that longing, addicted voice we all know only too well, and they’ll point you in the right direction. Enjoy!
